Inquiry Sharing Policy

What happens to a request you send through HealthNaro, what we collect, the consent choices you have, which clinics may receive it, how long it is kept and how to withdraw or delete it.

This policy explains what happens when you send a request through HealthNaro, either by asking us to help you find a clinic or by writing to a clinic or practitioner you chose. It sits alongside the Privacy Policy and the Data Retention and Deletion Policy, which remain the full statement of how we handle personal data.

What happens when you submit a request

  1. We store your request securely and give you a reference code.
  2. A member of our team reads it, and may contact you by your preferred channel to understand what you need.
  3. If you agreed to referral, we may suggest clinics that fit your request and, with your consent, pass your details to them. If you wrote to a specific provider, the request goes to that provider.
  4. We record what was shared, with whom and when.

HealthNaro is a directory. We do not provide medical care or advice, and the clinic you contact is responsible for the care it gives.

What we collect

We ask for the minimum needed: your name, a phone number or email address, how you prefer to be contacted, your town, the type of care you are looking for and a short message. We also record the page you used, a reference code, the exact consent wording you agreed to and the time. Please do not send medical records, identity numbers or detailed medical history. The type of care you ask about can say something about your health, so we treat every request as sensitive and limit who can see it. Staff access to requests is logged.

Your consent choices

The form has three separate choices, all unticked until you decide.

  • Privacy acknowledgement (required): that you have read the privacy notice and understand how your request is stored, who can see it and how long it is kept.
  • Referral consent (needed for us to share your request): that HealthNaro may share the details in the form with the provider you selected, or with providers you later approve. If you do not give it, we will not pass your request on.
  • Marketing emails (optional): occasional emails about new providers and health guides. Saying no does not affect your request.

Who may receive your request

Only a clinic or practitioner listed on HealthNaro that you chose, or that you approved after we suggested it, may receive your request. Only the fields covered by your consent are shared. Providers receive the request so that they can respond to you, and we ask them to use it for no other purpose. We do not share requests with advertisers, insurers or other third parties.

The service is free and we do not sell leads

The request service is free to you. HealthNaro does not charge clinics for passing on your request, does not sell requests or contact details as leads and does not let sponsored placement influence which clinics we suggest. Sponsored results elsewhere on the site are labelled and never change organic order or verification.

How long we keep your request

A request is kept until it is closed and then for one year. After that the identifying fields are removed and the message is deleted. We keep the consent and sharing history without identifiers as evidence that sharing was lawful. A legal hold may pause deletion in a specific case, and we will tell you when that applies to you.

Withdrawing consent and deleting your request

You can withdraw consent at any time, as easily as you gave it, by emailing info@healthnaro.com or using the privacy request form, quoting your reference code if you have it. We will stop any further sharing and, if you ask, delete or anonymise the request. Withdrawal does not undo what was lawfully done earlier, but where you ask, we will tell any provider that received your details that you have withdrawn consent. Requests are free, and we may need to confirm that it is you before we act.
