How HealthNaro Works

HealthNaro is a free directory of clinics and practitioners, with a free service that helps you find a suitable clinic. It is a directory, not a healthcare provider, and it does not give medical advice.

For patients

1. Search by specialty, service, clinic or practitioner name, then choose a country and town. Listings are currently in Kenya and Iceland, and we add other countries only when we have real data for them.
2. Compare profiles. Each one shows the services, location, opening hours and languages the provider has told us about. A field appears only when we hold data for it, so a missing price or insurance line means we do not have a verified figure, not that it is free or unavailable.
3. Get in touch directly using the contact details shown, or use the free request form and ask us to help you find a clinic.

Understanding verification labels

Every profile carries one label, which describes what has been checked and is never a rating of care.

• Public listing: the details come from public sources and have not yet been confirmed by us.
• Contact verified: we have confirmed the provider's phone or email.
• Reviewed by HealthNaro: our team has compared the profile with evidence and recorded the check.
• Credentials verified: a named person has checked a professional register or document.

The free request

The request service is free for patients. You tell us the kind of care and the area you need, and, with your consent, we pass only the details you choose to clinics that may suit you. You decide separately whether to allow referral and whether to receive occasional emails. HealthNaro does not sell requests as leads. See the inquiry sharing policy for details.

For healthcare providers

1. Register your clinic or practitioner profile, or claim a profile that already exists.
2. Verify your contact details and, if you wish, submit registration documents for review.
3. Publish once our team has approved the listing. No listing or change to key details goes live without review. Keep your profile up to date from your dashboard and respond to requests sent to you.

Listing on HealthNaro is free. Optional sponsored placement is available in some locations, is always labelled as sponsored and never changes organic order or verification. See the advertising policy.

Ordering and featured results

Organic results are ordered by verification status and then by name, unless you choose another sort such as distance. Verification status describes what we have checked, not the quality of care, and payment never changes the order. Where a featured block is shown, it is labelled with the area and the criteria used.
