Featured Placement

Sponsored placement gives a clinic or practitioner additional visibility on relevant HealthNaro pages, for example a town page or a specialty page. It is optional, it is separate from the free listing and it is always labelled.

How it works

• Sponsored results appear in their own strip marked Sponsored, with links that carry the sponsored attribute for search engines.
• Organic results are never reordered because of payment, and the organic list below the strip is unchanged.
• Sponsored placement does not change a profile's verification level and is not a quality rating or an endorsement.
• Only published profiles that have passed our review are eligible.
• Placement is for a fixed period agreed in advance.

What advertising rules apply

Advertising by health providers is regulated in many countries. In Kenya, for example, providers must be registered and licensed by the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council or the relevant regulator, and the national advertising rules apply. We accept only copy that follows our language rules: no claims of being the best, no promises of results, no invented credentials, prices or reviews, and no pressure or fear. We may ask you to change or remove wording before a placement goes live. Read the full advertising policy before you order.

What you can and cannot buy

You can buy visibility in a defined area and specialty for a defined period. You cannot buy a higher position among organic results, a verification label, the removal of a correct review or report, or access to patient requests. HealthNaro does not sell leads.

Availability and pricing

Sponsored placement is being introduced location by location and is not yet available everywhere. Pricing depends on the country, the position and the period, and it is agreed in writing before anything goes live. We publish no price list on this page, so please ask for current details.

How to ask

Send a message through the contact form with your profile name, the town and specialty you are interested in, and the dates you have in mind. If your practice is not listed yet, register it first, because a listing must be published before it can be sponsored.
